Welcome to the new home of Brainerd Optimist Dragstrip on the Internet. If you're looking for great heads up street car action in the southeast then Brainerd is the place to be! We're located only a scant few miles from the city limits of Chattanooga, TN and only two hours north of the city of Atlanta, GA making the track central to racers in Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama.

Brainerd offers a ten race street car series with a race on the first weekend of each month from February to December. Our events feature the awesome Outlaw 10.5 class, Outlaw Limited Street, 6.0 and 7.50 index classes. Also on our schedule is one of the best Supercharged Outlaw progams in the south. The program is a run whatcha brung and ets from 3.90 to 4.20 are needed to get in the top half of the field!

ET racing is also part of the program at Brained with guaranteed purses and no minimum car count. This season we have index and brackets in our Pro class every week. Footbrake, motorcycles and brackets for the kids are also on the agenda so make your plans to visit us soon! We've got something for everyone.
